My stay at Pingphuplace Smart Check-In in Chiang Mai had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, close to shopping venues and serene spots. however, the service and room conditions left much to be desired. I appreciated some thoughtful touches from the owners, but they couldn't overshadow the negatives I experienced.

I initially booked a room that was advertised with a balcony but ended up without one. The upgraded room had privacy but was not cleaned properly. I found dirty sheets on the bed, which was shocking. My request for fresh sheets at night was denied due to lack of staff, which felt unacceptable.

The management's response to my concerns was frustrating. they implied that my expectations were too high and even offered a refund if I wanted to leave. The attitude from the groundskeeper added to this unpleasant experience, as basic cleanliness tasks were overlooked.
